Pros
Working with kids, leading & teaching enthusiastic young coaches, passing on soccer. Concept behind the technology is genius (unfortunately it takes more than just an idea to make a business successful). Tim R and Andy S are easily the best 2 faces in the company.
Cons
While technology has potential, TOCA is still so far behind in developing consistency. Tech (which should be the main focus, as this is what we offer to customers daily) is unreliable, little guidance on how to fix things, which puts added stress on managers and young, part-time coaches. Work environment felt like a start-up that is moving too fast and ignoring glaring operational issues. Upper management is clicky, does not seem to respect those who are working hard on the floor to problem-solve daily (and who are trying to back a product / service that we know is underdeveloped). Lack of support felt from those “up top.” Joined TOCA with every intention of it being a long-term career move. Eventually, had to move on as I didn’t want to be putting out fires on a daily basis any longer or be in that work environment or culture.
