Competitive pay but toxic culture and limited advancement - Senior Specialist TP Employee Review

Pros

The compensation is genuinely competitive. KPIs tied to euro-equivalent rates meant the pay stood out compared to similar BPO roles in Egypt. That’s the honest positive.

Cons

Promotions have little to do with performance. What actually gets you ahead is being close to management, going along with the culture, and turning on your peers. People who challenged poor decisions or simply knew their rights were systematically pushed out or made to feel like the problem. Gaslighting is normalized — chronic overtime and cancelled days off are framed as your personal failure, not a planning issue. From what was visible across departments, the recruitment team operated like a clique. Loyalty to the group mattered more than competence or ethics. Those who tried to advocate for colleagues or push back were blacklisted. Candidates weren’t treated much better. A bonus system that once existed has since been removed, which further weakens the overall package. Decent pay but a closed career path unless you play politics.

Pros

Great leadership with excellent communication.

Cons

Workload can become stressful from time to time but a true team environment means there is always help available.

Pros

Global company with contracts with many different high-profile companies. They definitely don't want to let go of people. Will try everything they can to try to get you on a position that will keep your pay if you switch contracts. I started working in an office and transitioned to a work from home position. They handled that transition for me very well, but I do feel lucky as many other employees had different experiences than me. Very inclusive team!

Cons

Fast pace environment that does not necessarily feel organized all the time. Even though I thrive in fast pace work, some contracts are managed better than others. Feels more like a temp agency than a proper workplace with so many contracts. If the company we are contracted with does not want our employees anymore, they can cut people at any time. This will trigger TP to transfer you to a new project/contract. Working in the office was quite the drama at the time. If you work in an office, best to focus on yourself and keep your head down to avoid drama.
