Pros
- Team was welcoming and helpful from day one - Knowledge is never held back - Manager encourages development and career opportunities - Good bonuses - Fair pay - Work-life balance encouraged - Manager supportive of family emergencies, illness etc
Cons
- Mandated RTO 3 days/week, creating severe micromanagement that includes checking workday submissions, pass usage and remote desktop connections. Upper management have enforced this to the level that failure to comply is a performance issue and will result in reduced bonuses. Yet the company is setup such that all work is solely done from a virtual PC, including meetings, and therefore no need to be in the office. - No WFH equipment provided even though the majority of the company have to WFH at least 2 days a week as most are provided with amazon workspaces and do not have their own desk space. - Other teams have terrible cultures where knowledge is not shared and processes are not followed. - No office culture when you are forced to be there and no benefits or encouragement to come in. Turns office days into a very negative experience. - Communication between teams is varied, some are great, some would rather you didn't speak to them - Brokers often rude
