Pros

Stable company with established market presence Clear operational structure and defined reporting lines Exposure to complex cross-functional initiatives Opportunity to develop resilience in high-accountability environments

Cons

Leadership culture in certain operational domains can feel highly bureaucratic and rigid Limited flexibility in execution style; strong preference for doing things a specific way High-pressure environment with sustained expectations and minimal room for autonomy Noticeable turnover within certain teams during my tenure Concerns around mental health, psychological safety, and ability to provide candid upward feedback Perceived favoritism in treatment, visibility, and growth opportunities Compensation growth may not always align with performance expectations or tenure Morale challenges tied to leadership style rather than company mission

Pros

Good pay, supportive coworkers, and opportunities to grow and learn in the insurance field. Some leaders are very encouraging and helpful, The job teaches strong communication and problem solving skills, especially handling customers over the phone.

Cons

The work can be mentally draining at times due to difficult customer interactions throughout the day. Leadership styles can vary a lot depending on the team or manager, so adapting to constant changes and different expectations can sometimes be stressful. There are also frequent changes within teams and processes.

Pros

There's money to be made, not outside of AEP/OEP much. they train you well and most of the managers are flexible and caring.

Cons

Only certain programs are worth it there I was in their Aetna direct program first and that was good, leads knew who they were talking to, what to expect etc. However their programs outside of direct ones are bad, they trick people into calling in with the promise of a grocery card that does not exist. The most vulnerable community who needs the most help, made me feel like I was a scammer. Or they thought they were calling the carrier or Medicare themselves.
