Pros

Paid licensing by company. I made a lot of friends, I️ am thankful for the few good people I’ve met through TZ. Everything else sucks though

Cons

It’s the most dehumanizing job I’ve ever had. I was with the company for almost 4 years, and that means nothing to them. When everyone evacuated for the hurricane, once we came back to work almost 70% of my team got put on ADP (a development program) and if you didn’t hit your sales goal you were fired, which is horrendous because it wasn’t the agents fault that the company goal wasn’t hit due to a NATURAL DISASTER. They don’t care about honesty and integrity, I heard agents on a daily basis breaking insurance laws and management does nothing about it ESPECIALLY if that agent is a top seller. Also a huge issue is constantly decreasing bonus structures. I started out making $55k a year, and this year I’ll barely hit $40 if I’m lucky. I truly believe that the reason why they’re firing so many veteran agents is so that they can make room for new agents who have no idea how good the pay used to be. Cheap company with no morals

Pros

Good pay, supportive coworkers, and opportunities to grow and learn in the insurance field. Some leaders are very encouraging and helpful, The job teaches strong communication and problem solving skills, especially handling customers over the phone.

Cons

The work can be mentally draining at times due to difficult customer interactions throughout the day. Leadership styles can vary a lot depending on the team or manager, so adapting to constant changes and different expectations can sometimes be stressful. There are also frequent changes within teams and processes.

Pros

There's money to be made, not outside of AEP/OEP much. they train you well and most of the managers are flexible and caring.

Cons

Only certain programs are worth it there I was in their Aetna direct program first and that was good, leads knew who they were talking to, what to expect etc. However their programs outside of direct ones are bad, they trick people into calling in with the promise of a grocery card that does not exist. The most vulnerable community who needs the most help, made me feel like I was a scammer. Or they thought they were calling the carrier or Medicare themselves.
