Pros

Compensation is competitive. While there is higher in the industry in Florida, it still is better than most Florida pay rates.

Cons

Writing this review because the current 3-star rating isn't reflective of how so many employees on the sales floor feel. I have friends looking for work and I'm embarrassed to refer them to this company, despite generous referral incentives. - Subpar performance managers: Getting an email without multiple grammatical errors is rare and meetings consist of listening to a manager ramble at you for 15-30 minutes without a care in the world for any feedback or questions employees have. - Poor communication with employees: Ask a question, you may or may not get an answer. - Subpar facilities: Computer system, internet connection speed, and the physical environment all need to be improved - Poor work/life balance: 5 days of PTO for the year and holiday pay is only for the day of, e.g. you only get Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day as the paid holiday, and you won't get paid for those days if you "call out" the day before or after, so family time for sales agents obviously isn't considered a priority, even if you're willing to sacrifice some pay to get it.

Pros

Good pay, supportive coworkers, and opportunities to grow and learn in the insurance field. Some leaders are very encouraging and helpful, The job teaches strong communication and problem solving skills, especially handling customers over the phone.

Cons

The work can be mentally draining at times due to difficult customer interactions throughout the day. Leadership styles can vary a lot depending on the team or manager, so adapting to constant changes and different expectations can sometimes be stressful. There are also frequent changes within teams and processes.

Pros

There's money to be made, not outside of AEP/OEP much. they train you well and most of the managers are flexible and caring.

Cons

Only certain programs are worth it there I was in their Aetna direct program first and that was good, leads knew who they were talking to, what to expect etc. However their programs outside of direct ones are bad, they trick people into calling in with the promise of a grocery card that does not exist. The most vulnerable community who needs the most help, made me feel like I was a scammer. Or they thought they were calling the carrier or Medicare themselves.
