Pros

Management is the best I've ever experienced and I'm over 30 years in the business world and 47 years young. This is a true Sales organization with excellent, in-your-face, disciplined, moment by moment training and accountability. Every call to prospects and clients is recorded and monitored which is EXCELLENT if you are honest and LOVE things done correctly. Base pay is great, starting at $15 an hour (even during several weeks of training), and goes to $17 an hour in 60 days if you stay and I've not seen any asked to leave in the first 60 days. Also, leads are all provided with full FTC compliance. Full benefits offered after 60 days is an excellent and unusual thing for a licensed insurance agent to find these days!

Cons

If you have some bad habits in selling from the past and you resist change, you will struggle and may not make it. If you don't like to confront prospects when they say "no" initially, you will struggle or fail BUT management is more than willing to work with you if you are teachable so this con and change to a pro if you eat humble pie. Also, at times, leads are not as good as you might hope but your mindset will determine your outcome as you persevere, notwithstanding.

Pros

Good pay, supportive coworkers, and opportunities to grow and learn in the insurance field. Some leaders are very encouraging and helpful, The job teaches strong communication and problem solving skills, especially handling customers over the phone.

Cons

The work can be mentally draining at times due to difficult customer interactions throughout the day. Leadership styles can vary a lot depending on the team or manager, so adapting to constant changes and different expectations can sometimes be stressful. There are also frequent changes within teams and processes.

Pros

There's money to be made, not outside of AEP/OEP much. they train you well and most of the managers are flexible and caring.

Cons

Only certain programs are worth it there I was in their Aetna direct program first and that was good, leads knew who they were talking to, what to expect etc. However their programs outside of direct ones are bad, they trick people into calling in with the promise of a grocery card that does not exist. The most vulnerable community who needs the most help, made me feel like I was a scammer. Or they thought they were calling the carrier or Medicare themselves.
