Pros

Good people in the Tulsa office. High pay and PTO.

Cons

TRC recruited me away from another company, only to lay me off 3 months later for internal reasons. According to the monthly financial emails sent out by the divisional (oil and gas) boss, the group was making money, and I was informed during the exit meeting that the lay-offs were a corporate decision. That means one of the corporate overlords wanted a new yacht so lay-offs were ordered. At the very least, there are serious communication issues with the corporate leadership and divisional managers. If things are looking like a lay-off might happen soon, why would you continue to hire people for new positions? Makes no sense, unless the corporate overlords just sprung it on the division. Either way, very poor leadership.

Pros

Collaborative team environment, strong emphasis on safety, opportunities for professional growth, and involvement in impactful projects. The company also provides a structured onboarding experience and a professional work culture.

Cons

The main challenge is the time it takes to become fully familiar with internal processes, tools, and project workflows during the first few weeks.

Pros

Great team, very busy with lots of work, which can be a good and a bed thing at the same time.

Cons

There was not really a diversity of projects to work on.
