Pros
Total mixed bag of experiences with this place, here are the pros: -Good Pay & Benefits -Christian culture -Corporate will send you to "Summit Meetings" in Indiana, where you get to listen to to leadership tell each other how great they are, and how great the company is. In fact, there are three prominent leaders (all middle aged white males) who we always called "rah rah guys", and we would be listening to HR or some other department in the middle of giving a presentation and out of nowhere one of them (usually the little 4' 9" outspoken guy) would shout something like " WOOO I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!", like we were at a Multi Level Marketing convention or something. Lots of singing songs and team building exercises. Made me feel like I was 12 at a summer camp. Or there was the bald guy who would ALWAYS yell out the one Asian Manager's name every time he walked into the room to make sure he felt special. -Lot's of nepotism here, they know that you are good stock if you are related to someone else. You will get instantly promoted, like the good old days! -Lots of diversity here, they have Irish men, Italian men, English men, German men, etc. You know, all the Eastern European countries, they are all well represented at TriMedx!
Cons
- If you work at a site where the Technicians are required to be hospital employees instead of TriMedx employees, you are in for a real treat. They will save you so much time managing them by ignoring literally everything you say. You may as well sit at home and just let them do their jobs. Who are you to tell them what to do, you're just their manager, they are the real experts! So take a load off, sit home, and just let the paychecks roll in. Its easier that way! - The hospital administration knows you're busy, so they will totally ignore you and make it clear that you are not one of them. They are all really smart people and they know best. Take the hint! Show up to the meetings to get the attendance credit, but after that just head home, you're done for the day! -TriMedx leadership is like a yummy wedding cake, lots and lots of layers! In fact, they might have more Supervisors/Managers/Directors/VP/Executive VPs than any other company known to man. Everyone gets a piece of the pie! They are really helpful too, when you tell them literally any issue you are having with the site, and even if they have direct contact that they could help mitigate the issue instantly, they instead fix everything with a simple "just keep plugging away". Remember they were all super genius techs before too so they are wicked smart, way beyond your comprehension.
