Pros

Flexibility in schedule and non-micromanaged

Cons

3 rounds of layoffs within 11 months. In a market where competitors are expanding, TRS Staffing can’t sustain business without their parent company due to poor decision making by management/upper leadership, lack of vision/structure and overall inability to innovate, motivate or retain staff. Hard-working people are consistently affected by layoffs because of poor leadership and management, inability to sustain external business and very poor decision making. In my years with the company, there has been multiple rounds of layoffs and notably many prior. Employees ARE highly-disposable here, and there has never been any real explanation or empathy ever being offered, just the fact that they have to save face and eliminate people/salaries, which is pretty obvious... everyone has anxiety about getting let go next; no trust in leaders. Even when “stable”, company depends heavily on parent organization, despite having all the resources and reputation to prosper externally; Despite reviews being deleted, favoritism IS prominent here. Leadership will ensure job security of those in certain positions and offices due to having closer relationships with those individuals or favoring them overall. Both the Craft side of TRS and Human Resources are extremely corrupt which is well-known, but “leadership” doesn’t care enough to actually make any changes and ask the right questions. Low morale, poor culture and selfish leadership. Highly-motivated people who are actually seeking a rewarding career in staffing and upward mobility eventually leave because they’re laid-off or the the lack of growth opportunities. Raises are rare and once you advocate for yourself in any way, you’re pretty much putting a target on your back; commission structure significantly below market Inconsistent rules across the business where some teams work “hybrid” 4 days a week in-office, and others work hybrid/in-office only once a week. Again, heavily due to favoritism and bias in leadership. Reputable company within Oil and Gas staffing, so most have the ability to move on to better, but the reality is this organization is poorly structured and corrupt. The consistent influx of business is a direct reflection of the passive-aggressive, self-serving, upper leadership/management in place and their lack of business acumen; They also care a lot more about numbers than people. Salary and commission structure are already below the market - horrible circumstances all around.

Pros

I loved my recruiter Dan. He was great at communicating with me and seemed to actually care that I was happy in my contract

Cons

The hospital I worked for floated a LOT and I did not like that. We were told we would barely float. It was Redding Regional in Redding, Cali.
