Pros

Relative high pay with bonus every season in Taiwan. You won't be fired unless you don't keep integrity. Lots of intelligent young engineer, but not the managers. If we have long weekend with government policy, never need a make-up day.

Cons

Extremely Bureaucratic. Frequently long work hours over 12 hours, even more. (record 18hr) Low starting salary so that the overtime pay could be low. Stable job, so people were afraid of changes to prevent making any mistakes. Limited employees to search information, they are watching you all the time.

Pros

Nothing to note of pros except for 2.5x pay on holidays.

Cons

Horrible work culture, 13 hour shifts (they said it would be 12 but it varies on department), training lacks depth and true mentorship. Employees with higher seniority can say anything they want (like curse in your face and say serious insults about your ability while taking no accountability for their training). If you work OT they hate it and will get on you for it. If you leave the workplace because your shift is over but other technicians are still working on tools— you are expected to stay even if it drives you into OT. Everything about their structure is set up for a lose-lose situation. Many other cons.
