Great Culture - Project Manager TST Construction Employee Review

Perfect sized company, approachable leadership and fast growing

The small family style company has a lot of small perks every year that larger companies forget about. Things such as shorter work days, or office lunches, maybe a random breakfast here or there. The overall culture is great and the company has a great leadership in place. There also seems to be a decent amount of opportunities to grow with the company as TST owns various other companies such as TST Fab and Machine, Retro Insulation, and Aim Services.

Insurance is great for the individual but very expensive for a family. You do not get all federal holidays off as you would probably expect working for a company that focuses mainly on federal work.I'm not a big fan of the PTO/Sick time as it has a use-it-lose-it set up and you dont really get much time off overall. Additionally to that, you have a lot of people taking off at the end of the year which puts a strain on other people to maintain the workload.
