Pros

Work for home, $18 per hour

Cons

Everything, "training" was a joke It was PowerPoint slide after PowerPoint slide and that's what we had to refer to a PDF document 200 pages to figure out how to help a customer. Granted this was a new project for the company but they were not prepared for it nor did they prepare us for it This was the tolling for the MTA and the MTA should go back to the prior company if they would like to continue making money. Unless you would like to have an anxiety attack prior to clocking in and having none of your systems that you need to work to help a customer on a daily basis If you like that type of frustration and this is the job for you If you also like not knowing how to do your job then this is the job for you. If I was at least taught and my system that I needed to use to help a customer worked I could figure out how to do my job efficiently but when your programs don't work and they're constantly going down and you have zero support but yet you get yelled at constantly or you get put down and belittled or the rules change every other day it's a very frustrating place to work when you try your best and then it's not ever good enough. If the programs that I needed to used to actually get into a customer's account that came from the prior company that had this account we're still using their program something's not working whether it be our phone system trying to integrate with a program that we barely know how to use The phone system barely works none of us know what we're doing and that's not a good feeling I can figure out most things in life even if I'm not trained but I can't figure out how to use a system to help a customer if the system barely works. And when the system chooses to work I only have 3 seconds to document and then I get scorecards some little power hungry people sitting behind a screen listening to my call not realizing that it took me 7 minutes to log into a system to get into the customer's account then trying to figure out how to find what I need in the account then going to my team's chat which is full of nonsense where there are four team leads in the chat asking a question for help nobody answers but other CSRs So now the call took 7 minutes for me just to login 10 minutes waiting for a response from my group chat for the answer to help this customer then being told to call help desk a 13 minute wait and then all of a sudden this call has now taken over 30 minutes and then I get spoken to about my handle time well I have no control over the system's not working but for some reason it's still my responsibility to make sure that my calls are 13 minutes or less how I ask you. I wish I could be exaggerating and one of those people I just likes to complain but I was happy to finally get a work from home job and learn that side of employment but this place is not where you go not for New York now TTec has contracts with a lot of companies a lot of well-known companies I don't know how that works for any other contract out there besides the contract that I was employed for which was the tolling contract in New York and it was brand new but a dumpster fire the head of the projects was let go back in May probably cuz I don't know I'm going to grab on let me hear and assume that we probably as a company to get the contract from conduent said whatever we had to say to get it meanwhile never being able to meet any of the goals that they set or promised therefore leading to his termination This was literally the worst job I have ever had I've had a very bad jobs but I knew what I was doing that was the difference and I could figure out what I was doing here you can't do your job and the level of frustration and ignorance and lack of common sense is beyond belief and nobody sticks around everybody leaves. It's quite sad to be honest with you. Nobody should feel utter dread and anxiety I'm complete panic for zero reason other than you're about to log into your job to see what that day brings which is frustration aggravation and anxiety and acid reflux. I was hoping to always work for the health care positions for this company but they're only offered another states other than New York So I got stuck with this one and I'm only going to speak about this once I don't know what the other ones are like Don't do it If it's for the tolling company for the MTA run for your life run in the opposite direction MTA if you happen to read this take a contract back to conduent You made a mistake You get what you pay for and you're losing money buddy Plus it's put on hold for the CBD program which is what I was hired for. Also barely trained on Good luck with that All I have to say is that I'm not the only one that felt that way I'm not the only one that still feels that way and they literally just got rid of an entire company and one day they decided to fire 27 people It's an actual company they don't need to give you a reason they don't have to investigate it with HR even though they said they were going to but that's crazy but they're supervisor was not fired so I'm confused It's just not a great place If you have common sense it's not a great place for you run If you lack it which a lot of people do be my guest but seriously there are so many more cons than pros and again this is for the New York tolling like I said they have multiple contracts a lot Verizon peloton some pet insurance a lot of health care jobs not any in New York from work from home so when I'm talking about the company I'm talking about this specific project this contract was a nightmare is a nightmare and will always be a nightmare especially when you're using another company's program It says their name right on the top of our screen it's bonkers

Cons

- Lack of transparency in regards to pay, benefits, drug tests, etc... - Extremely high pressure work environment - Extensive micromanagement - Poor relationship with clients leading to poor communication between leadership and agents on the production floor - Questionable Treatment of new agents - Very little flexibility in regards to time off, VTO, and PTO - Leadership extremely limited in ability to affect change and improve conditions (Corrective Actions borderline unavoidable if one has health issues) - Tenure takes precedent over performance leading to ethically questionable leadership and poor communication
