Pros
Learned a lot about what type of manager I do NOT want to be Met some really cool people, who were sadly underutilized by management Essentially impossible to be fired (which may be good but allows underperforming employees to remain)
Cons
Management is awful. They micromanage to the extreme yet provide no training or resources to those that are struggling. They will task other employees with training. There is 0 upwards mobility. Management does little to further your career, they will actively work to hinder you, unless you are their favorite. Very old school mentality - no work from home, must be at your desk at all times Very strict vacation policy - management can take off whenever yet will tell employees they are not able to take days If a problem occurs management will not support you and had been known to pit employees against each other. It is an overall extremely hostile work environment
