The salaries are compatible and there are many chances to build strong relationships with colleagues that extend beyond the normal workday. TVA is also active in the communities it serves; there are many chances to volunteer and make a difference for residents of the Valley.
Cons
It is difficult to remove bad apples; easier at the executive level than at the worker level. The variety of operations performed and managed creates silos that are sometimes challenging, but not impossible, to work across. Leadership (vice management) is sometimes difficult to see, but is improving across the company.
