Pros

Some the best moments I had with Taco Bell were because of the great General Manager we had. Our manager - Victor - made our crew feel as if we were a team. He would motivate us towards higher goals that gave us a sense of accomplishment. If we did well we were met with rewards like food or cash. Victor would always remind us that there were more opportunities if you worked for it. Then he went on to better, to be a district manager for TB. The manager he left in his place did not hold a candle.

Cons

Being a drive-thru cashier at TB requires patience and multi-tasking to your greatest limits. Since there is only one window and no-parking rule you alone are forced to order-take, cash-out, and expedite essentially all at once and still make sure the drive-thru’s timing is “green” or good. Not impossible, but the only job that gave me anxiety attacks before the shift. Especially when you are forced to work the window every hectic hour on the schedule (fri/ sat. nights were horrible). Tb is typical drunk people food so weekends were unbearable as customers would change their order, add to it, harass you, or just be drunk. If you’re conventional looking, fast, and female more than likely they’ll put you in the window and never let you touch the grill.
