Pros
If you are a regular employee you can be accommodated with a flexible schedule.. if you are a manager, the bonuses for achieving goals with speed, Osat and labor are a big plus.
Cons
Typically, there is a lot of favoritism and discrimination that goes on in this type of environment. If the managers are not doing their job, it makes it more difficult on employees and other managers. When managers have been in a high position for a number of years they tend to become comfortable, less efficient and lazy. This reflects changes in attitude among the crew, which causes disorganized and disrespect. Some rgms fail to follow policy and hire family members and friends which causes issues in expectations, i.e. if a member of their family is hired they generally do not work as hard and are not repremanded when they do something wrong like no call no show or violate food safety policy.
