Pros
Co-workers are great, Customers are great.
Cons
Expectations for a Client Specialist require a lot of behind the scenes work, but time allowed to do that work. It also takes away time from serving the customer, which should be at the forefront. Our store is new, and none of our managers ever worked for Talbots before. So the store manager doesn't know what she is doing. When I ask our Regional Manager a question, she says that is not part of her job, and she doesn't know. Never offers to help find an answer. We also have some regular shoplifters, and are given absolutely no power to refuse to do a return, even though we KNOW them and what they are doing. It is just fluff when they say that we are empowered to do what is best for the store, the customer, and the company. Also, unless you are full time, there is no benefits package.
