Pros
Workload isn't that bad. Usually have enough hours to schedule a stock person or enough sales people on the floor to process shipment and take care of customers. Manager is salaried but mine has never worked a minute over 40. OT is frowned upon so as an Asst you still have a life outside of work.
Cons
You better negotiate pay before you start because from what I've been told raises haven't been given in years and in a year and a half I haven't received one. And seeing Managers sit in the office while the rest of the staff does all of the work despite the DM being told is not fair.
