Pros
The discount for employees is great and first dibs on the new inventory is definitely an incentive. Scheduling was very accommodating and Talbots customer base is friendly and often stores create a welcoming environment for both the employee & customer.
Cons
The drive to push sales & customer contact can be overwhelming. While Talbots is pushing customers online, the "journal" required for employees to track customer purchases, emails, and phone numbers is a bit much. Also employees are required to email customers about upcoming events/sales/ and new merchandise...this on top of dealing with inventory re-stock, assisting in person customers, and maintaining store operations can be overwhelming too.
