Pros
Nice clothing and average discount, friendly staff and for the most part, very nice customers.
Cons
There is definately an 'encouragement' not to take breaks or lunches or to work without pay at certain times. Too much emphasis on procedures & policies, and not enough on actual selling skills. Very little positive feedback, with emphasis always on what Talbots wants and new rules and procedures that sales people are to follow, yet management get around these issues in a very unfair way.
