Pros
The only positive aspect I can think of is the option for remote work.
Cons
I worked at Talkiatry for a few years, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The company has a concerning pattern of hiring people, pushing them to work tirelessly to meet deadlines, and then laying off entire teams once they’ve achieved their goals. This cycle of hiring, burning people out, and letting them go seems to be their norm. Once the company no longer needs your skills for a specific project or objective, you're laid off with little regard for the effort you’ve put in. If you’re considering joining Talkiatry, be aware of this unsustainable work culture. The high turnover rate and lack of long-term commitment to employees make it a difficult place to build a career. Proceed with caution.
