Pros

Flexible hours Independent contracting Some very professional and helpful people there Decent commissions if you work in an area that makes lots of referrals and sales CRM was okay to use if you're familiar with it

Cons

No guarantee of salary (CA salary-exempt sales professional status requires $55,000 pay in CA, but they don't follow this) Tough to make sales with B2B who have many great options to choose from You have to pay for your own transportation, office, business cards, etc No sign on bonus Not a very straightforward sales process, despite what they tell you Pricing was up to the manager, rather than the sales agent which isn't normal Too demanding of the customers who already aren't interested in another pitch Manager quit due to unprofessionalism of both upper management and team performance, expressed his frustration often to subordinates who are actually independent workers Too much micromanagement, they don't trust newcomers Corporate plan doesn't leave room for negotiation*

Thank you for your feedback! While the pandemic has been a challenging period, we have used the time to re-engineer ourselves with new go-to-market initiatives and strategies. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your perspective, that no longer includes appointment setting. We're training our team members for personalized service in the field. We do pay for mileage reimbursement, but it does require tracking and submitting it through our reimbursement platform. Luckily, there is a mobile app for that to keep it convenient. We hope that you are doing well and finding success in your current role. Take care and stay safe -

Pros

Decent one week training. Training staff is nice

Cons

THERE IS A REASON WHY YOU GET HIRED HERE AFTER TWO EXTREMELY SHORT INTERVIEWS. RSL's are the biggest micromanager. They believe themselves to be more important than your time out building a pipeline. Random scheduled meetings with focus on their time only. Run far away from this company. Around $660 monthly take home to get you on your feet.

Thank you for your feedback! The payments industry is a challenging and rewarding industry, and you're right, it takes a ton of work to build up the business, make connections in your network and develop relationships everywhere you go! We believe that you have something special that would stand out from all of the other processors, because at the end of the day, clients are buying from the individual - not the company. The individual is a representation of the company brand. All of our field sales roles are located in different markets. The commission structure is the same across like-roles. Commission residuals are calculated on the businesses signed. There are opportunities for the long sale in building up relationships with referral partners (like banks) and there are short sales in connecting with small business owners. The opportunities are there and you are correct, it takes a consistent approach to build the pipeline. Please feel free to reach out to your supervisor or any sales leader within the organization to see if there is something that might be missing in your approach so we can work together in supporting you for a more rewarding career!
