Tampa Bay Rays

Is this your company?

Good overall, but expect to work a lot of hours. Cool experience working for a MLB team. - Ticket Sales Representative Tampa Bay Rays Employee Review

Pros

Learn the ins-and-outs of a MLB team. Great sales experience with training for those with minimal to no previous experience. Get to work with a group of your peers from around the US who are looking for a career in sports.

Cons

Seasonal (6 months) and then you're finished with no guarantees of a job there or elsewhere. Make over 100 phone calls per day. Work almost all the baseball games and spend about 60 hours a week with no overtime or benefits. Commission is the end all be all.

Pros

Company culture was really improving during my internship. Lots of benefits and company organized events.

Cons

The salary they offered during and after my internship was not enough to match cost of living in the area.
