In the staffing industry (as well as many other sales industries) you do have to get up and running quickly, but with our firm you are a part of a team that will help you do that. As you know, we have a week of training that will allow you to learn about the firm, the industry, and your specific role. I am surprised to hear that you feel you did not have enough guidance. We invest a lot of time in our new hire trainings and want everyone to feel comfortable and ready to go when beginning their role.
