Pros
Tasty Brands manages to hire great people, but that’s about all they do right.
Cons
Unfortunately Tasty Brands is owned by an individual that only care about himself. The “core values” are to be followed directly, and are often preached in meetings when things don’t go his way. “Urgency, Accountability, Proactivity, Teamwork, Integrity.” Notice how integrity is the last of the core values? That one is very rarely noted and is often forgone altogether. You can only have integrity until it costs them money. Working in Food Safety, I can say that the amount of times I was asked to falsify information, “just make it work” and just downright lie is quite honestly disgusting, especially considering we are making food for children. The more I questioned what we were doing, the harder I was targeted and harassed until I had no choice but to resign. After giving my 2 weeks, the harassment stopped even though I continued to do the same job. I am not the first person to experience this and I know I won’t be the last.Overall, I would not recommend working here unless you are able to just keep your head down and work. Dave, please consider treating your employees with more kindness and respect. Everyone that works for you try’s their hardest and really pulls off some amazing things. But you still yell if they aren’t constantly exceeding your expectations. It really is a shame because if you treated your employees well, you’d get far more out of them. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
