1. The distribution is work is really screwed - they are many who don't get assigned enough work and then there are others who are assigned a boat load - and just loaded more on. 2. Performance review and upward mobility is heavily politicized and has nothing to do with the actual performance. 3. Few projects and people are really toxic, they have a heavy handed hierarchy - which makes it impossible to convey ideas and some project straight up gaslight employees. 4. They are not that welcoming of new ideas or new technology. And R&D at individual level is impossible to contribute with.
