Pros

Health Care Plan Decent and affordable Excellent 401k with matching from day one 100% vested -I think this was the only thing I was impressed with.

Cons

Vacation time is horrible- Ok this how it works if you are in a particular account division like banking IT you cannot cross divisions and go to insurance IT. Which is stupid. Most their opportunities they request you to relocate for a 4 month position or 6 months. You have to keep moving to stay employed. TCS relocation plan is capped. They request you to move with your signing bonus if you just started with them. They only pay for relocation if you agree to move to a location that you would never want live in your entire life. Basically most positions are staff backfill, Small amount SOW contracted work. If you are on the bench more than 90 days you should be sending out your resume to other employers.

Pros

Large client base. Talented people, have "cracked the code" on offshoring development and support.

Cons

For anyone used to working in US-based firms, the culture and politics will be difficult to understand and navigate. Internal policies and systems focus on the offshore delivery center model. Roles in the US do not fit into that mold, and obtaining approvals for simple expenses can require weeks and insanely high approval chains given the size of TCS. I needed approval from a global division head (a CEO direct-report) just to pay for a short training course. Missions of different departments are not clearly defined, so overlap and conflict are common.
