Pros

Its a paycheck, but that's it.

Cons

Company finds any way it can to short the employee, Benefits are expensive management doesn't care one bit about their people. Nobody gets a raise this year except higher up people because there is not enough money. The CEO got a 4.6% increase though this year bring his In financial year 2025, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO and Managing Director K. Krithivasan earned a total compensation of $3,087,763.75. High turnover and according to the HR person that did the onboarding for my dept said its mainly due to how convoluted their own website. There is items you are REQUIRED to complete with almost no direction, and if you dont then you're in trouble. This HAS to be the worst company I have ever worked for in my entire life. If you are thinking about coming to this company .... DON'T! Would have gave 0 stars but, that is not an option.

Pros

Large client base. Talented people, have "cracked the code" on offshoring development and support.

Cons

For anyone used to working in US-based firms, the culture and politics will be difficult to understand and navigate. Internal policies and systems focus on the offshore delivery center model. Roles in the US do not fit into that mold, and obtaining approvals for simple expenses can require weeks and insanely high approval chains given the size of TCS. I needed approval from a global division head (a CEO direct-report) just to pay for a short training course. Missions of different departments are not clearly defined, so overlap and conflict are common.
