Pros

Pay is better than most seasonal jobs. Bosses generally flexible if you need time off as long as it is not mid-January or all of April.

Cons

Ineffective management that is still with the company. A specific manager does not do well under pressure, but yet they are still with the company. Promoting under-qualified employees because upper management is friends with them.

Worked in my home office, good pay, opportunity to be placed on permanently if desired and selected. The supervisors were very supportive!

Cons

Some customers would place blame on agent for their tax mistakes (TaxSlayer is a self-prep software) and would yell over the phone, creating unnecessary stress.
