Pros
This is a company that genuinely seems to care for it's employees, seasonal or full time. In addition to provide for lunches several times over the year, TaxSlayer also had a seminar to help people to get through interview and application processes, for once they finished working there after the season. After this though, TaxSlayer went out into the community to find companies that would hire people from them once the season ended and had a job fair where each company had representatives come and do impromptu interviews and take people's resumes to give them a leg up on a job after the tax season had ended.
Cons
There were some issues with miscommunications between technical and customer support. This resulted in both sides being very frustrated with one another. The situation felt like an 'us versus them' battle rather than us being two sides of the same team who are supposed to have each other's back.
