Pros

Some of the residents are empathetic

Cons

Many of the residents have no problem expressing their racism, sexism, and homophobia without fear of any repercussions. Corporate management presumes all communities are the same and use a cookie cutter approach to unique problems.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We take concerns about discrimination and inclusion extremely seriously, and we’re truly sorry to hear this was your experience. Every community we serve deserves to feel safe and respected, and comments like these reinforce how important it is for us to continue strengthening that culture. We also appreciate your note about the uniqueness of each community. While we strive for consistency in our standards, we know that a one‑size‑fits‑all approach doesn’t always address local nuances. Your feedback will help guide us as we continue refining how we support teams and tailor solutions to the needs of each community.

Pros

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
