Pros

The best part about working for Taylor Morrison is the team atmosphere. Everyone is always engaged into helping each other and that's what makes this company so great. I also like the fact that creating a "work to life balance" and healthy living is something this company strives for. It really makes family life less stressful and kids much happier. There are plenty of opportunities to advance your career with promotions.

Cons

I have worked in 2 divisions and the biggest problem I see is the lack of consistency in operations. I think direction should come from the top as a standard versus allowing divisions to run their operations their own way. Outside of that I still love working here and enjoys the challenges I face everyday.

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
