Pros
Great people, fun environment, good work life balance being a hybrid 2-3 days in office/ wk, and great benefits. Leadership is transparent with what is going on in the company, which encourages employees to stay involved with not just their assigned task but ideas on how to improve the company overall.
Cons
Slower raise, lower wage, rare upward mobility so the only way to catch up with the living cost in any of the office locations is to either be fully remote, live very far away where its cheaper to live or boomerang back to the company. This will encourage people to quit once or twice just to keep up with faster inflation. It is a bit unfair for hard workers that do a great job and has been there for awhile. They will need to quit eventually to just catch up with inflation. Good companies mean no one leaves, which means rare upward mobility. Wish they can give higher raises beyond 5% even if they can promote yet since its top heavy
