Now I understand the term “toxic” when describing an internal makeup of an organization. - Acount Director Team Velocity Employee Review

Pros

The product itself is strong and, in many cases, better than competing offerings. With meaningful internal improvements, this could eventually become a great place to work.

Cons

This is the most dysfunctional organization I have worked for, which is notable even within the automotive industry. The environment is extremely cliquish, and daily operations are marked by ongoing chaos rather than structure or accountability. Training is essentially nonexistent, despite claims to the contrary. New employees are expected to figure things out on their own with little guidance or support. Many of the concerns raised in older reviews remain valid, and recent feedback appears to more accurately reflect the current state of the company. Commitments are frequently made but rarely followed through on. The lack of integrity and weak mid-level leadership ultimately led to my decision to leave. Arrogance and a lack of respect for employees are common and discouraging.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of working with Team Velocity Marketing is the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. The company gives you exposure to automotive marketing, SEO, client strategy, technology, and team collaboration in a way that keeps the work interesting and rarely repetitive. There are always new challenges to solve, which can help you build stronger skills, take on more responsibility, and learn from experienced people across different departments. The team environment is also a major plus, with supportive coworkers who care about doing good work and helping clients succeed.

Cons

One potential con of working with Team Velocity Marketing is that the fast-paced environment can sometimes feel demanding, especially when priorities shift quickly or multiple deadlines overlap. Because the company operates in a competitive and constantly changing industry, there can be a lot to keep up with, from client needs to platform updates and internal processes. At times, the workload may feel heavy, and communication across teams can vary depending on the project or situation. That said, these challenges also come with the territory of working in a growing, high-energy marketing company, and they can be manageable for people who are adaptable, organized, and comfortable with change.
