Pros

Casual environment Beer Friday every month Occasional company outings Good work/life balance Modern workplace Good salary to start out of college Unlimited PTO (with manager approval) Able to work from home sometimes

Cons

Very political... top executives are buddy buddy with few people, making others feel like outcasts. If you aren't in the good ole' boy group, then good luck. They are nice to all but they definitely play favorites... ex. certain handshakes, talk to them on first name basis, and get invited to events where they aren't deserving but others that are deserving are left behind. Very flat organization.... No room for growth (unless you are in the good ole' boy group) with limited pay increases.... high turnover is seen because people leave for better opportunities with better pay.

Dear Former Employee, Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. When our company was founded, our leaders not only built a thriving company but built friendships. The same employees who started with us, are still here today. Naturally, lifelong friendships are formed. With that being said, favoritism regarding pay increases, promotions, and other employment perks are not tolerated. In fact, we promote people based on stellar performance and teamwork rather than tenure. Successfully growing a culture like this requires setting up a system that demonstrates and recognizes contributions and performance on individual and group level. On the downside, it also requires establishing an understanding of consequences, ensuring employees take responsibility and accountability for their performance. Not everyone gets a trophy. We had instances where employees have seen peers getting opportunities they were not receiving and perceiving that as favoritism. On further investigation, it turned out those employees were working extra hours, going above and beyond to earn the confidence of their manager and, ultimately, earning those chances for advancement. But when the boss favors someone in the office without real merit that at its core is unprofessional behavior and is addressed. Again thank you for your review!

Pros

One of the biggest pros of working with Team Velocity Marketing is the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. The company gives you exposure to automotive marketing, SEO, client strategy, technology, and team collaboration in a way that keeps the work interesting and rarely repetitive. There are always new challenges to solve, which can help you build stronger skills, take on more responsibility, and learn from experienced people across different departments. The team environment is also a major plus, with supportive coworkers who care about doing good work and helping clients succeed.

Cons

One potential con of working with Team Velocity Marketing is that the fast-paced environment can sometimes feel demanding, especially when priorities shift quickly or multiple deadlines overlap. Because the company operates in a competitive and constantly changing industry, there can be a lot to keep up with, from client needs to platform updates and internal processes. At times, the workload may feel heavy, and communication across teams can vary depending on the project or situation. That said, these challenges also come with the territory of working in a growing, high-energy marketing company, and they can be manageable for people who are adaptable, organized, and comfortable with change.

Pros

The culture at Team Velocity is genuinely outstanding. Management is engaged and accessible, which makes a real difference day-to-day. As a creative, you're given the freedom to do your best work while also being challenged in meaningful ways — navigating ever-evolving manufacturing compliance requirements keeps the work fresh and pushes you to grow as a designer.

Cons

The constantly shifting compliance standards can be demanding to keep up with, but it's more of an occupational challenge than a company failing.
