Pros

If you have less than 5 years experience it's a great place to work and make friends. You won't develop any career strengths for your future but you'll get a great job title.

Cons

Pay in most cases is low, unless your "in" with the owner and the "in" crowd that close to his family. All salesman, no real passion for your biz just to increase your budget, that's why MD's make so much in commission. Only care about 3 clients so they can throw their name around as a references. Clients beware, it's all automated and not custom at all. You pick a template and you'll find a mistake on 75% of the direct mail pieces anyway. You likely have a 22 year old handling your account.

Dear Valued Employee, We know it takes a lot of courage to leave a review as a current employee, so we thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. At Team Velocity, we do things a bit differently. Job titles are subjective terms and vary from company to company; our job titles are a reflection of our internal company structure, not necessarily the entire industry. We are proud to be a company that doesn’t pigeonhole employees into a ridged corporate ladder, but rather allows employees to carve out their own path to success through their hard work and dedication to servicing our clients. You don’t have to be a senior to win the Heisman, you just have to be the best at what you do. Employees who are fueled by a passion to make a positive impact on our clients and find satisfaction in their client’s success are rewarded, regardless of length of employment. We work closely with every one of our clients to ensure their overall happiness and satisfaction with the products we provide. You’re right, not every client gets custom artwork on every campaign, but they do get a customized strategy tailored to their specific goals and a dedicated team who is passionate about helping them reach their greatest potential. Our award-winning campaigns have a proven track record of success, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t continuously evolving to be better. We are forever a work in progress and without our dedicated team, we wouldn’t have achieved so many pillars of success, like our Premier SMB Partnerships with Google and Bing or our placement on Inc. 5000’s list of Fastest Growing Companies each year. These strides were made possible by the wonderful clients we have partnered with and by people like you, who challenge us to break the status quo and do things differently. We are always pursuing perfection so if you have any suggestions for how our products or processes can improve, we would love for you to come forward and share your ideas with us.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of working with Team Velocity Marketing is the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. The company gives you exposure to automotive marketing, SEO, client strategy, technology, and team collaboration in a way that keeps the work interesting and rarely repetitive. There are always new challenges to solve, which can help you build stronger skills, take on more responsibility, and learn from experienced people across different departments. The team environment is also a major plus, with supportive coworkers who care about doing good work and helping clients succeed.

Cons

One potential con of working with Team Velocity Marketing is that the fast-paced environment can sometimes feel demanding, especially when priorities shift quickly or multiple deadlines overlap. Because the company operates in a competitive and constantly changing industry, there can be a lot to keep up with, from client needs to platform updates and internal processes. At times, the workload may feel heavy, and communication across teams can vary depending on the project or situation. That said, these challenges also come with the territory of working in a growing, high-energy marketing company, and they can be manageable for people who are adaptable, organized, and comfortable with change.
