Pros

Starbucks perks - 30% discount, insurance plans, weekly mark-out, sbux stock. Flexible for part time students. Management team given consistent full time. Weeks of Paid Vacation.

Cons

New leaders have driven out Partners with years of experience. New tea wall layout is a headache for old and new customers. Used to be by type, now flavor. Company switched to only giving part timers 3-4 hour shifts so they don't have breaks. Poor training for new GM's in Area. Company is targeting Millennials, who are either still living at home with no money or broke college kids. Does 20%-50% coupons EVERY weekend, so no sales during the week any more. Company is loosing core values to traditional tea ceremonies and getting rid of Japanese Cast Iron over next few years due to new leader decisions. Newly outside hired GM laughs in face when asked about moving up inside the company because of younger age. Embarrassing when your manager doesn't know how to make a cup of tea or how to demonstrate a product to a customer after showing them multiple times. Teavana is now scared to sell tea. Store filled with emojis. No direction how to talk to HR on having problems with GM on personal space, touching, and difficultly with customers. Asked at least once every weekend who they can call to complain.
