Pros
Teavana has a really great atmosphere, and attracts unique individuals both as customers and as employees. You have the opportunity to learn about a lot of different aspects of tea, if you choose to pursue it. You also have the opportunity to learn a lot about customer service and selling skills, if you choose to pursue that as well. Teavana also has a good benefits package, and offers health and a 401k package to part-time employees as well.
Cons
The effort you have to put in to working at Teavana - just the sheer product knowledge alone - is quite high for what they pay. The bonus does not significantly make up for the low hourly. The most difficult part is dependent upon your management. The area manager has the opportunity to put a lot of stress directly on the store manager, and that can trickle down. If you're considering a job with Teavana, ask the current employees for honesty regarding the work environment.
