Pros
1)Lots of projects 2)Trainings (esp in Avanade) are good.Good chance to learn new Microsoft skills. 3)Flexible work timings(Though varies from project to project) 4)Direct Client exposure 5)More accountability and Responsibility to work.It provides a greater path to take more initiatives in technical area. 6)Managers do have technical bent of mind and understand the system.
Cons
1)Screwed up Appraisal process.Appraisal greatly depends on the current project the time of Appraisal where little importance given to previous feedbacks. 2)Client is God over here so a little bad feedback from client can screw up your whole appraisal and promotion. 3)Pay discrimination with laterals. 4)Managers are only technical no leadership skills.
