Pros

If you want sales training, this is the place to be. You will learn the ins and outs to get you ready for a real career.

Cons

It is possible to thrive at TechniPower. For that to be the case, you must be motivated strictly by money. Do not expect to have an opinion, get any respect, or any relief from being told to do more, because even the more will not be enough. They will attempt to drive you by fear, instead of earning the respect of their staff. The base is not enough to even live on.. You can make good money, but that usually comes after at least a year of scraping your way on to the higher commission structure. Half of upper management does nothing while the other half is so swamped doing the jobs of others and their own. It does not seem to matter how many people express their concern about the same problems, the owner knows best. TechniPower is a good decade behind in technology, practices, and resources.. Comical as we place technical people on a daily basis. And if you are a great employee, you will become so over worked from more duties being piled on you as others are left to slack off. You will quickly learn that the stress of this environment is not even close to worth the paycheck you get each week. Do not jump aboard a sinking ship.

Pros

Family environment, good people, a lot of community events. Great place to get your feet wet in sales or recruiting without a ton of pressure really as long as u show up and try. But not a good place for longevity as there isn't much of a path for growth as a company or leaders to take them to the next level.

Cons

Lack of organization leadership is hindering growth. No real plan, no real metrics to shoot for, no real structure for success. It's all about how u fit in to their religion or if you get cozy with a couple tenured members then you are golden. Otherwise you won't get training or skills for success, basically a random luck of the draw on making calls and hoping to have opportunities. You can be demoted multiple times, quit, and then be brought back at a higher level of u know certain people in the company. Or u can be highly talented, not involved in their religious aspects as a company and u probably will be pushed out the door. Upper management doesn't take feedback well unfortunately.
