TRG has a close working relationship with FCA, which is the only company I had an interest in working for. Jen Ogbu was my recruiter with TRG. Jen worked tirelessly from when we first interacted in April 2017 to get me in front of as many managers at FCA as possible, knowing the passion I had for the company. She made sure that I was fully prepared and comfortable before having a phone interview or an in-person interview. In late June 2017, I was fortunate enough to receive a job offer from FCA for my current position. Jen stressed during the entire process that going direct generally takes a minimum of a year, depending on job openings within the company, which I understood before accepting the job. I need to stress at this point that I'm the exception and not the rule regarding going direct. I was able to make the conversion after just over 4 months of working for FCA as a contract employee. If it wasn't for the time that Jen put in to help me, and the advice/help/prep work I received, I would not be where I am today. Quite frankly, if you have an interest/desire in being a part of the automotive world as an engineer, and if you have an desire/passion to work for FCA, Jen is, without a doubt, the one person that can help you realize that goal.
