Pros

Run while you! This company isn't a good company to work for. While the benefits might be great, you work with people who don't and won't work with you. You work on the projects as an Engineer with no one on projects that need help on. Not having a balance for family time. During the hiring process they state they are a company that's close knit and like family. Run! Seek opportunities with companies well known and for good quality work. They will tell customers anything to get their business, but are they giving them quality product is the question?

Cons

This just isn't the company. Their is no room for growth.

Pros

Pay (at the time of hire) was slightly above average for the area among GovCon Medical insurance - costs for employees were kept low (lower than average) Retirement - ESOP and other employer retirement contributions were above average

Cons

The Dahlgren Operations Manager has little care to understand veterans with disabilities, which is surprising given his background. He's told a veteran "I can replace you with someone who doesn't need [appointments]" (for context, reference is to a virtual 1 hour appointment, once per week, at lunch time). He's handed out similar remarks to other veterans (including myself). I've left, the veteran who I referenced earlier left a few months later, and I know of two more veterans looking for an off ramp for similar treatment. If you're healthy, I'm sure you're fine. But if you have an existing medical condition that you're working with a provider to get under control, or if you have regular appointments - beware.
