Pros
No micromanaging from supervision. There's also great benefits for employees.
Cons
I was hired in 2023 and I was not told at the time I was hired that it would be a temporary position. Fast forward to 2024 and I was informed that my position will not be available for the new contract. This was my first job as a government contractor but it would have been nice if I was informed at my time of hire that this would have been a possibility. Also, spending more money on employee wages instead on extravagant Christmas parties and gifts would be nice.
