      Pros

      Sick Leave and Personal leave aren't comparable in the private sector, people are kind of nice for the most part, one free class every semester including two in the summer, good work life balance (depends on department)

      Cons

      Disorganized, DIFFICULT to move to a different department, THE PAY, Benefits aren't that great anymore, mind numbing, extremely difficult for anyone to get fired, no more insurance when you retire, easy to get "Stuck" with the 'just enough' pay and 'okay' benefits.

      8-4:30 M-F schedule Easy to take time off Front load PTO to make managing time off easier Hybrid work schedule

      - Minimal accountability - Pay is well below national average - Pay for Performance standards are near impossible to “exceed expectations” - Double standards is the standard - Promotions are slow, so don’t expect to move up fast
