Pros
The position is very rewarding in the sense of a) establishing relationships across the country with corporations as well as site selection consultants, b) working with communities across the State in assisting them with their job creation/retention efforts, and c) establishing relationships with existing industries across the State of Tennessee.
Cons
The greatest challenge for working in this position is the changing of a "current" administration, which can result in being dismissed in an "executive service position".
