      Working for the State is secure, you know how your time off is granted and used by the employees.... They always supported furthering your education and that was helpful. Always seemed to be understanding when time off was needed.

      There were always a crisis to deal with

      8-4:30 M-F schedule Easy to take time off Front load PTO to make managing time off easier Hybrid work schedule

      - Minimal accountability - Pay is well below national average - Pay for Performance standards are near impossible to “exceed expectations” - Double standards is the standard - Promotions are slow, so don’t expect to move up fast
