      Pros

      I got hired when after 25 years you could leave with your health/dental benefits. There were good benefits in general though. You could work hybrid or depending on your position remotely.

      Cons

      There is always, always a lot of work. Not enough days in the week. But this is the nature of the job at a state agency.

      8-4:30 M-F schedule Easy to take time off Front load PTO to make managing time off easier Hybrid work schedule

      - Minimal accountability - Pay is well below national average - Pay for Performance standards are near impossible to “exceed expectations” - Double standards is the standard - Promotions are slow, so don’t expect to move up fast
