Pros

Working around cars. Just typing this sentence to hit the 5 word minimum limit as there is no other pro besides those first 3 words.

Cons

I will start by saying I only worked for them a week, and I am now glad I left so quickly. I started September 12th at a location that was at a dealership. It took them until the 15th to even send me the forms for me to fill out tax or banking information. Even then, it was because I had to remind them I still hadn't received it yet. My first 3 days were training days and I was hourly ($10/hour). After that it was per car ($5 for quick washes, $10 for some of the newer spot cleans at dealership, $25 for full details). I was told numerous times to work fast because the faster I work, the more I get paid. It didn't matter. One of the biggest issues was just not enough work. There was 4 of us there and barely any new/used cars being sold and even less detail cars coming in daily. I sat around doing nothing for hours daily, and a couple of the other guys were sent home because of the lack of work. Imagine coming into work, sitting around for a couple hours, maybe doing 2-$10 cars and then being sent home. This happened maybe 2 or 3 of the days I was working there. After that, one of the dudes just stopped showing up (and for good reason). It was a waste of time. I worked there for 6 days and my biggest day was doing 5 of those $10 cars and half of another $10 cars with the one other guy who was there. It was a 7 hour day and that's only $55. Other days were around $40 a day. One of those days was a 9 hour day. You can do the math of how much I was paid per hour. It wasn't because I was slow, it was because there was no work. I maybe actually worked around 3 hours a day or so. I ended up quitting after a week (Sept 20th), because I can't live off that money, and it was a waste of time sitting around. I found a new job in the time I was sitting around there. Now, for my other problem. I still haven't been paid yet as of today (October 7th). That is almost a month from my Sept 12th start. I asked the boss on Sept 26th what day was I supposed to be paid cause I hadn't received anything yet. He says I can go pick up my check on the 30th. I filled out stuff for direct deposit (after having to ask for the forms days later to fill out banking info), so that made it more annoying. I actually wasn't able to make it there on the 30th (they close while I am at work at new job), so I texted and asked if they could just mail the check. They said they can. On the 5th I mentioned I hadn't gotten it yet and asked if it was even mailed yet. I was told they would check into it and they would get back with me the next day. They didn't. Today, the 7th, I text them asking if the check would be at the place so I can come and get it, because I was tired of waiting. I was told if I don't receive it by Monday (Oct 10th), then to call a number and ask for someone. There was another guy who complained about his money being off, so I am not feeling too confident in my check having my money right. So, I am potentially waiting a month to be paid with a check where my money isn't even right. This is why I keep track of my own hours and how many cars I did. I have been cheated before with other jobs. I wish I could wait until Monday or whenever I get my money, but I was so angry today, I had to write it up now.

Pros

Mmm you got to see the place you work in first and decided if there is anything good bout it. I’d say the people I met for a short time

Cons

A disgrace to detailing overall. Save your time and go work somewhere else, they lie to your face bout your rate and then pay per car is so cheap. A barista is making more than you, they don’t even have a solid chemicals they use, 3-4 chemicals they use, not one spot remover. Towels are old and used again, and never rotated out for fresh, scratch cars left and right. It’s a cheap business. So unorganized, I was hunting for air tools and or tools
