Pros

1. Immense opportunities to grow on the Technical Ladder (Sky is the limit) 2. Absolute freedom in going about handling team and practice and take the onus of the results positive and negative. 3. Special mention to the Americas Applications Practice that supported the GDC India Applications Practice. That collaboration which made this as a potent "One Team" in helping the Customers solve complex Data Management problems resulted in pretty good job satisfaction over the years

Cons

1. Support functions like HR, Resource Management are lagging Bus Ops, Travel Desk (latter are better compared to former ones) 2. Sensitization of the HR folks to deal with employees and their managers in a better way is needed. 3. HR and other support functions should work towards helping the managers derive the best out of the employees instead of throwing spanner in their works
